Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Sarah attended The University of Rochester, and received a B.A. in Psychology in 1998. As a dual sport collegiate athlete in both soccer and lacrosse, Sarah has first hand knowledge in the area of sports psychology, health and wellness, and can provide insight into the body and mind connection.

After graduating from The University of Rochester, Sarah went on to receive her Masters in Social Science and Administration, at Case Western Reserve University (M.S.S.A) in 2003. She received her Independent License in Social Work (L.I.S.W) in 2005, her supervisory designation in 2014. Sarah’s extensive training and experience working with eating disorders has underlined the need for a team approach. Today, Sarah believes strongly that coordinating with other ongoing treatment providers when working with clients with eating disorders is imperative to effective care.

Sarah’s training in The Gestalt approach has had a significant impact on her professional career. Not only did it support a deeper insight and understanding when working with eating disorders, it has also become the foundation in treating multiple other issues that exist among her clients today. Today, Sarah lives in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, where she is raising two young boys with her husband, and two lovable dogs.
